Park Place Acupuncture moves to Dunkirk | News, Sports, Jobs

Julian Pierce, licensed acupuncturist and owner of Park Place Acupuncture, graduated in 2018 from the Finger Lakes School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at New York Chiropractic College.

She started her career as an acupuncturist at sea and then opened her own practice, Park Place Acupuncture, after having also gained experience on land. Now, two years later, she has moved her growing practice to a new location at 3375 E. Main Rd., Dunkirk, NY 14048.

Traditional Chinese Medicine is a five-system model that includes acupuncture, nutrition, herbs, tai qi (meditative movement), and tui na (Chinese medical massage). At Park Place Acupuncture, Julian focuses heavily on acupuncture and nutritional recommendations to promote healthy lifestyles for his patients.

Acupuncture has been recognized by the CDC and other health organizations for its effectiveness in the treatment and management of hundreds of conditions such as pain, infertility, women’s reproductive health, anxiety, and pain. depression, insomnia, hypertension, migraines, allergies and more.

During the initial consultation with a patient, the patient can discuss questions and concerns in detail with Pierce. This conversation will help her create an individualized treatment plan that includes a selection of acupuncture points, frequency of visits, and recommendations for nutrition, supplements, and lifestyle.

Pierce reassures newcomers that the treatments are quite relaxing and not as intimidating as some might think. Acupuncture is the use of thin needles that are essentially the width of a human hair. They are specially designed and used in such a way as to allow painless insertion.

Please contact Pierce with any questions and to make an appointment. Book an appointment online at ParkPlaceAcu.com, email JPierceLAc@gmail.com or speak directly at 716-680-8188.
